NUCLEAR FREE ZONE. This act calls for an end to the nuclear arms race and gives public witness to the congregation’s nonacceptance of nuclear weapons and noncooperation in nuclear arms/power.
Recent activities:
• participation in the Nevada Desert Experience retreats and actions at the Nevada Test Site where the United States tests nuclear weapons
• work for ratification of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty
