The Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi initially committed to Project Equality in the early 1970’s, renewing that commitment in 1984 and maintaining membership since. We cooperate with Project Equality (P.E.) by using our purchasing and hiring power to help bring an end to job discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, handicap or national origin, and cooperate in P.E.’s review of the congregation’s EEO/AA practices.
