A Path of Contemplation, Conversion, and Commitment

This is an invitation. For some this may be a spring board for meditation, for others a source of insight and for others the beginning or renewal of a mystical relationship with our God. However the Spirit leads you, may you experience peace!

“My son, you are with me here always; everything I have is yours. But now we must celebrate and rejoice, because your brother was dead and has come back to life.”
(Luke 15) 

Help me to forgive others and give them a second chance.

Help me to admire the humility and faith of the royal official.

 Help me to understand that God is often more present to me in times of sickness or suffering and to think of these times as graced moments.

Wednesday March 17th Feast of St. Patrick

“Can a mother forget her infant, be without tenderness for the child of her womb? Even if she should forget, I will never forget you.”
(Isaiah 49)

Help me to remember that God loves me as a mother loves her child.

“They have soon turned aside from the way I pointed out to them, making for themselves a molten calf and worshiping it.”    (Exodus 32)  

Help me when I “turn aside” and do wrong to remember God’s loving forgiveness

 “Joseph, her husband, since he was a righteous man, yet unwilling to expose her to shame, decided to divorce her quietly.”   (Matthew 1)

Help me to understand the turmoil of Joseph and how he decided after some heavenly encouragement to follow his heart.
