The Consecrated Life Committee is presenting The Stations of the Nativity, along with a visit from St. Nicholas, on Sunday, December 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Clare Hall. Please see the flier with this issue for all the particulars. We are encouraging families to come and pray with us, so if you have family in the area and think they would like to attend, please feel free to invite them.
St. Nicholas will be handing out bags of goodies to all children under the age of 14. There will be coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies for all to enjoy. We plan to have our fruitcake along with other selected items from the gift shop at the Motherhouse for sale to those who are interested. The Stations of the Nativity book will also be available for sale for $12.
“Find the deeper meaning of Christmas with this lovely new devotion and you’ll create a brand-new tradition for family, church, or school that will be treasured for years to come. Beginning with the Annunciation, fourteen events from the Christmas story are depicted in lush paintings and accompanied by scripture and reflection. The text is fresh and contemporary, yet has the timeless feel that marks a classic. The delightful art is a unique visual meditation in itself.”
Sr. Evelyn Brokish has added the music to make it even more prayerful.
Please know that you are invited and welcome. RSVP to Sr. KD Strandell at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 262-583-1278.
