This Statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus has been on the front lawn of our Motherhouse grounds since 1916. It stands as a reminder to us that the love of Christ has gathered us together as the Sisters of St Francis of Assisi.
Jesus is the center and the source of our community life. Filled with his compassionate love we strive to bring the healing, teaching, reconciling and liberating power of Jesus into the human situations in which we live and minister. We join Saint Francis and Saint Clare striving to continually follow in the footsteps of Jesus as Women of Faith Touching a World in Need in the 21st century.
