The sisters will once again hold their Christmas Boutique on December 7, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Troubadour on the convent grounds —3221 South Lake Drive, St. Francis, Wis. As in past years, the event will feature hundreds of items hand-made by the sisters, including arts, crafts, clothing, many other surprises, and bakery — Christmas cookies, stolen and the sisters’ famous one-pound fruitcake loaves.
In addition to the usual raffle baskets, there will be a special raffle of a hand-stitched circus play set, including a big-top tent, ringmaster, clowns, animals and tamers. Those tickets are currently on sale at the Cornerstone Gift Shop in the convent, and will also be sold at the boutique. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for five tickets. Winner does not need to be present at the boutique.
Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted for raffle tickets and at the boutique. All proceeds go to the support of the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi.
