Legacy of Caring For Others

The Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi have produced a video entitled, “Legacy of Caring for Others.” It is intended as a legacy piece for use by staff of their corporate ministries, Associates, and others with ties to the congregation.

This 17-minute video provides viewers with a sense of the charism and mission of the congregation, a sense of its history, and the importance of Franciscan values in the vital work being carried out by ministry partners as they advance the legacy into the future.

Filmed in September 2025 on the grounds of the Motherhouse in St. Francis, Wis., it tells the story through the words of Sisters and of Michelle Markowitz, CEO of Cardinal Cushing Centers in Massachusetts, one of the congregation’s corporate ministries.
