Archbishop Grob blessed the chapel on April 21.
In recogition of Pope Leo XIV's proclamation of this year as the Jubilee Year of St. Francis, Milwaukee Archbishop Jeffrey Grob has designated San Damiano Chapel as one of the 11 Franciscan pilgrimage sites in the 10-county Milwaukee archdiocese. The designated days and hours that the chapel will be open to pilgrims, beginning on June 2, will be:

Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays

1:30 to 3:30 p.m. each day
Pilgrims are being asked to register a week ahead of the day they plan to visit. Call 414-744-1160 to register.
The chapel is located at 3221 S. Lake Drive in St. Francis. Enter under the green canopy at the entrance to the main building.
